If they want to release Slim and Neo close to each other as a cheap/premium alternative then i wouldn't be surprised if it's only on the Neo, with the Slim always being cheaper than the Xbox One S

If it is not going to include 4k blu ray player, it better be cheap. 249 or less is the ideal price.

$249 or less will KILL the Xbox One S.

Hardware wise I don't see much reason why not adding this support. The only thing missing for ps4 be able to display 4k is a compatible HDMI output and in case of BD an updated laser cannon. |
Lol, laser cannon, sounds like a weapon of mass destruction inside the PS4 xp. And yes, if Sony is wise enough, they will add a new laser lens and the HDMI output update for 4k.

No. they are going for a cheap PS4 model, probably $249 without a game. Neo is for people wanting 4K media and games with a probable price of $399

Features cut? man you guys are amazing.
it still plays BluRays
it still plays games
it still plays VR

Perhaps I should have said "usually". But yes, rather than adding, in the past there features cut, iirc. No need to get defensive on that.

I think you misunderstand. I don't see any features cut. I think you are making it up or maybe you have convinced yourself but I just don't see what you see. so I am asking you, what was cut?

I think you misunderstand. There are no features cut (well, besides optical out, which *is* a feature).
Again: people shouldn't expect anything *added* but instead features cut. It's about the expectation of what a slim version is, not what is actually happening.
It should. I don't see why it wouldn't. Unless the power bump for Neo is that small that they need something else to entice people.
