Forums - Nintendo Discussion - List of current gen, NON-million selling Nintendo games

Should Hyrule Warriors Legends be counted in the million selling list with the Wii U version, or separately on here?

Lumped with Hyrule Warriors Wii U 23 30.26%

Separate 53 69.74%

Total:76

We are talking about 8th gen games. XC and TP are 7th gen games. XC3D and TPHD are 8th gen games.

Okay.  I'm off to play Super Mario Bros. 3 on my 3DS, a 8th gen game.

Agree to disagree. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is counted as an eighth gen game because it was a packaged retail game sold on a cartridge that only be played by a current system, the (New) 3DS. Twilight Princess HD is counted as as an eighth gen game because it was a packaged retail game sold on a disc that only be played by a current system, the Wii U.

I think I may be alone in this, but Wonderful 101 kinda deserves its low sales in my opinion.

Also, Amiibo Festival and Ultra Smash sold more than they deserve.

I don't think Wonderful 101 ever had a chance of selling super well. Platinum's stuff never sells fantastically. Add to that a new IP exclusive to an underperforming console  and a veeery divisive control scheme, and it was practically doomed. amiibo Festival and Ultra Smash show the bare minimum power of their brands.

How can 3DS games be 8th gen, when the 3DS is a 5th generation handheld?

Is "list of current gen Nintendo games" better?

Amended

I understand the commercial reasons for its performance, I just didn't like the game personally. :P

I agree...

Have a nice day...

Pokken and Twilight Princess HD will sell 1 million sooner or later. Also, I'm shocked Amiibo Festiva; managed to sell 410k! That trash game doesn't even deserve to sell 20 copies.

I think biggest faile here is Wii Fit U, Wii Fit on Wii sold more than 20m copies, on Wii U cant pass 1m.

I think if Hyrule Warriors Legend should be counted with the Wii U version. Then the same should be the case for Smash Bros. on your other list
