Slim models never actually have "slim" on the packaging I don't think. They're just an update of the console.

I think it might be cheaper than $299 though. Even if it's just $279.

PS4 500GB, $299

PS4 1TB, $349

PS4.5 1TB(?), $399?

That seems too close to me. I should also point out that I think the 4.5 won't cost more than $399 and I think it has to come with a larger HDD to add more value to the package.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I think its just thinner. The HDD bay seems to have been moved to the back.

I like how they spaced out the USB ports tho, this way if standing the console your charge cable can be connected to the bottom port and not look like an eyesore while you use the top port for USB peripherals.

So basically just as wide, just as long but thinner. Nice touch with those PS signature buttons on the bottom side.

I don't think it outputs at 4K which makes sense in light of the Neo.

Hmmm true, but it still doesn't appear to be much smaller at all. I still think this is just a cheaper to manufacture ps4 so they can cut the price. This will be the cheapo ps4 model alongside the premium neo model. OG will be discontinued.
