PS3 is just selling more, for now. Xbox360 wiil rise when a GOOD game comes out.

I think the only way the 360 HW is going to rocket is if they include a Blu-Ray drive and stop charging for Live. However, 360 SW is still higher.

Yeah, it OPENS higher, but slides faster out of the charts if you go by the trends provided by VGchart's ... charts.

Most Europeans waiting on GTAIV will probably be swayed towards the PS3 by GT5P, possibly in ratio favoring the ps3 even more than sales are now.

I agree with this.

Imo, MS would've placed a STRONG second this gen if they had dropped the price by $50 the week the ps3/Wii launched, another $50 last holiday season, and yet another $50 right about now prior to the launch of GTAIV. Hell, they may have even had a shot at first, because the Core would be $150 right now.

After that, they probably could've sat on their asses for a year or two. But no, they decided to sit on their asses from the getgo. The only decent price cut they had was last holiday season, and it wasn't even an even $50 cut across all SKUs. :|
