I don't think it gives us any insight on how easy it is to port to NX but more so sounds like they making the NX version different by choice similar to how the 3DS and PS4 versions are different.

Good to see it confirmed, but now the mystery is what will it actually be, since it's niether the 3DS nor the PS4 versions.

Well, it's not a PS4 port, but at least it's not a straight up port from the 3DS version either.

I think people are reading too much into power here as he says specifically the use of hardware not level, 3DS has duel screens while PS4 is a traditional platform, going by Miyamoto's statement NX supposedly utilizes an idea or concept that is new.

If we're going by the dock/hybrid theory that's been doing the rounds then the's no way a straight port can be done as the game has to run its experience on both modes for example. XI was in development for NX before the DQ event as SE would have been the first developer introduced to it hence why the platform was mentioned at it.

XI is more specifically a version for NX because of the concept of hardware that Horii wants to utilize it seems not power because we know the new Sonic that 's coming to X1 and PS4 is also on NX.

Hope that doesn't mean more develop time, because the question is also will be all three versions be released at the same time...?

That's a bit irrelavent unless youre Japanese. DQ games take forever to come out westward... took them 3 years and tons of fan begging to get 2 simple 3DS ports here x.x when it does release, dont expect it until about a year after Japan had it x.x XD

Hoped to see it faster this generation, as it seems that big games like ff get a world wide release date

2 things:

1. With this now we can conclude that they reconfirmed as it was confirmed since last year. Just because some didn't want to see doesn't mean it was not already confirmed.

2. Having its own version does not mean only graphical wise. It could be also different features.
