In conjunction with Eurogamer's reports, it sounds like the NX is basically just an inverted Wii U in essence ... instead of streaming to the tablet, the hardware is inside the tablet, and the controller sides can detach.

Nice to hear. Let's hope the DQ get released in the west also :p.

We'll see what they mean by that difference. Is it a different look for a different audience/features or just a plain hardware difference regarding the NX?

They know there is no point in trying to compete directly with Sony and MS in the power stakes. Nintendos strengths never really lied in raw power anyway.

The funny thing is the 3DS version just looks much more appealing to me. It's such a great idea, kinda a surprise more 3DS games didn't try that concept.

Wonder if this means that the NX isn't just running a downgraded PS4 version. Maybe he just means the architecture is different making it more difficult to develop for the NX version then what porting a PS4 game to PC/XBO would be.

If I hear one more dev complaining how difficult it is to develop on multiple platforms I'm gonna scream.

Yes to this! I loved the Motion controlls, The dual screen, The 3D and the Tablet controller.

It could be that they took the 3DS version and put an upgraded version onto NX. If NX comes with some 2 screen version, then an upgraded 3DS version would  fit better then a PS4 port.

It is obviously from last year
