Forums - Gaming Discussion - Less Than One Percent Of No Man’s Sky Players Reported Issues

While the internet does allow vocal minorities to appear much larger than they actually are, the percentage of people having issues is certainly higher than 1%. Those are just the people not only having problems, but that actively went out of their way to use the support system to find answers. We can't know how much more than 1% it'd be, but i'd expect it to increase a decent amount when you include people who went straight for a refund, those who found answers elsewhere, and those that are fine living with whatever issues they're encountering.

And 1.04 just crashed after about an hour. Just going into the options menu to check on discoveries, blue screen of death. Report error to null.

Depends on how they actually got that number... Is it based on steam forums or emailing them or twitter or a combination or something else? Cause there are plenty of people who post problems on sites like Reddit so do those count as well? So its hard to actually know how he got that number...

With that being said, it makes sense that its still a low number. But I am sure next time him and his company makes a game, people will certainly take his words with massive amounts of salts and probably won't trust him as much as before. I know that I sure as hell wont be buying his games on day 1 ever again.

I'm wondering the results myself, seems a bit random to point the issues towards them being related to just the 1%.

I won't be buying anything from him day 1 until he stops with the maybe and half truths and becomes a yes/no man who delivers a polished experience on launch, provided he isn't asking you the world in terms of price point either.

I'm also left wodnering if this thread is going to turn into another one of those excuses to point fingers at certain people and act as another crusade all over again, it seems some fans of the game want some blood, hasn't stopped people going after Jim Sterling's site, wouldn't surprise me on here either.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

Did you do as I suggested? Remember Sean said he's sorted 70% of the problems out in the first patch. The other fixes are likely to come a little later, perhaps as early as next week when the bigger patch comes. Let yourself die, save the game and then return to your grave to pick your stuff up. Let me know if it works.

Nope, I wasn't duping anything, nor dying or reloading. I was only looking for a way off the planet I can't find the last 3 remaining species on. I finally found an outpost with a landing pad (alternative was to walk 60 minutes back to where I left the ship), warped to the next system, talked to atlas, stopped at space station, landed on new planet, saved at outpost, and pressed options -> crash. Nothing stressful on the game.

Naaa, that's what you do to sort the problem out lol. A lot of Gaffers have solved it by 'letting themselves die, saving the game and then retruning to their grave to pick their inventory up'.

Less than 1% still doesn't change the fact that it's one of the more broken games I've played in a long time...

Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

My game hasn't crashed yet.  Ps4, digital.

l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble?  If not, I'll keep looking.

In all fairness they've moved pretty fast. Hired a support bigger than their developing team and rolled out a patch for PC to fix things within a week. How messed up is it on PC, I don't know, but I'll say it's a big learning curve for a small team working on their first huge project.
