I think it'll be more interesting for other franchises, unfortunately (or fortunately?) the Pokemon franchise is like the best selling franchise (of all platforms) practically every generation. So its hard to really know which part of sales for future games (if any) will be associated to things like "GO", unless the series does even more incredibly (which I sort of doubt, they're already selling like 10+ million most gens)

Definitely is the case, makes me wonder if Nintendo is going to put a bigger emphasis on mobile games too

I think we should look out for the Fire Emblem mobile game. It can do wonders for the franchise if Nintendo plays its cards right!

I dont why in the past people were afraid of Nintendo making games or putting their IP on Smartphones. Lol XD

That was Nintendo's plan all along but people called them insane, myself included. But it's actually working.

In my country it has been first  in the popularity list of an amazon-like site here, after pokemon go launch!

People were concerned that gameplay would suffer without buttons, and it's true enough.  Not everything will work on smartphones.
