Isn't it amazing that technically a brand new Metroid Prime game released today and the reaction is either complete apathy or utter disdain? It's stunning how far we've come over the past 9 years.

I predicted 67, so far I'm just slightly off.

I saw some reviews and it looks like a decent game. I might buy it in the future since we barely get shooters like this on the 3DS.

Well, we still won't have european reviews until early September, so score can still change. Anyway, it's far of my 80 prediction. I should have known that hate is just too strong, even when the game itself is pretty damn solid.

I've never been to your site before but I just clicked link and I like it.  It is laid out nicer than your competition in my opinion.

I have decided that I will still get this game despite the scores. The fact that it's Metroid Prime means that I have to at least give it a shot

I think the excuse of "the hate is too strong" falls kind of flat when the actual critic scores are out.

How are they a professional review site again?

In the video, they said that enemies are bullet sponges unless you use special items or charge shots, with the first being too few and the latter taking too long. They probably should have said bullet sponge items instead though.
