Not quite sure I get why its called the Mega Man successor that we are looking for. I get the guy behind Mega Man is doing this game but of all games that it reminds me of, Mega Man is not really one of them.

Still, I am excited for this game and I'm hoping it turns out as fun as it looks.

It reminds me more of Metroid.

Same here. Im also seeing Ratchet and Clank, Banjo Kazooie, Tomb Raider and a few other games. Mega Man...not so much.

I'm not feeling it yet. Neither the platforming nor the shooting aspects of the game look particularly interesting to me. Well, release is not too far off (it's still releasing in September, right?) so we will get some good, in depth impressions and reviews soon.

Playing: F1 2016 (PC), Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4)
Watching: Hajime no Ippo, Attack on Titan (4th time)
Upcoming purchases in October:
-TBD

I had hoped for something like this at this year's E3, so I'm glad they finally put out some gameplay. Hoped to see more before I play it next month, but this trailer at least tells me it's probably in the same vein as other games I enjoy. Don't see any Megaman in it, though. Except perhaps stealing those cores off of robots being similar to Megaman pulling a vampire on all the robots he beats.

That looks awesome as before :).

Microsofts version of Ratchet & clank.

Doesnt look as fun to play though, and we know nothing of story or the characters.

Still pretty sure I can get away with saying this probably wont have the humor, R&C has.

This looks nothing like Mega man or Metroid.

The closest thing to it, resently is probably Ratch & Clank.

It looks good enough, thought probably wont score that high on Metacritic (guessing below R&C).

"The Mega Man successor you've been waiting for."

...what?

Also, guess we know where all the tallent and effort went at Comcept that was absent from Mighty No 9.

looks good... not sure why there is a plug for mega man. Not really a system seller sort of game lol.

It's obvious that the platforming part is inspired in Mega Man and not Metroid.

Do you have fun playing a console different than mine?

DON'T!!!

I believe the Metroid people are referring to is Metroid Prime moreso than the side-scrollers. I'm still not really seeing the Mega Man aspect but with that title I tend to focus more on the 2-Dimensional games.
