Forums - General Discussion - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child beats Fifty Shades of Grey to be named fastest selling book of the decade

After reading the first 30% of the book, I'mean not sure if I really like the books or is it the memory or the love of the character.

I heard is an awfully horrible book though

goes on the "to read" list.

But I thought there wasn't going to be any more Harry Potter?

It's a script for a play. Not really meant to be read as a book.

Already ordered it, should be here soon.

The people who apparantly did not do research when they bought the book, generally tend to hate it because it is not a novel.

I enjoyed it, but I also knew what it was.

Even as a script, I heard horrible things about it, really bad things, so I'm still on the fence, I have read all Harry Potter books but I don't want to read one that makes me angry.

Some even say nothing on it was written by JK Rowling (as it lacks her style) but for Jack Thorne alone.

Despite loving Harry Potter the style of this being a script from a play didn't interest me as much. Impressive to see it still has the broad appeal after all these years. I do expect if Fantastic Beasts does well this will get a film adaptation someday. If they get Radcliffe and others back be the big question.

I read and it plays like a fanfic... and without giving spoilers, the plot revolves around the concept that JK screwed the most on the book.
