Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump "Exhausted, Frustrated, Bewildered" As Campaign In Meltdown

New York Times reporting Trump campaign is in dissary amid falling poll numbers:

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/14/us/politics/donald-trump-campaign-gop.html?_r=0

Advisers who once hoped a Pygmalion-like transformation would refashion a crudely effective political showman into a plausible American president now increasingly concede that Mr. Trump may be beyond coaching. He has ignored their pleas and counsel as his poll numbers have dropped, boasting to friends about the size of his crowds and maintaining that he can read surveys better than the professionals.

In private, Mr. Trump’s mood is often sullen and erratic, his associates say. He veers from barking at members of his staff to grumbling about how he was better off following his own instincts during the primaries and suggesting he should not have heeded their calls for change.

Cover of Time Magazine also has a similar story, the cover kinda says it all though:

Also frustration mounting from Republicans/GOP who feel like Trump is a boat anchor on the party who could lose them the senate on top of losing himself:

More than 100 GOP officials, including at least six former members of Congress and more than 20 former staffers at the Republican National Committee, have signed a letter asking the party chairman, Reince Priebus, to stop helping Trump's campaign.

How to kill your brand.

As much as I (and probably the vast majority of the world) dislikes Trump (except Bateman) the reality is that Hilary's win was pretty much guaranteed for some time now. There is no way around this, but from the outside its pretty obvious that the USA has lost its image as the beacon of democracy for some time now. Pretty much everything yells as a manipulated election, and believe me, we eastern Europeans know

Hilary is not easy to beat. Obama, who is probably the most charismatic politican the world has seen in 20-30 years *barely* beat her in the primaries in 2008 (in fact she beat him on the popular vote) and has said that primary was his hardest election to win (not the presidency). Clinton runs a very disciplined campaign, and like her or not, she does have a very large base of support. Her supporters just don't post on Facebook 393848489 times a day like Bernie supporters do, but they're definitely there.

If Trump ever thought this was going to be easy, he was very badly mistaken.

Trump is his own worst enemy.
He doesnt listen to advice and think he knows better, than people that know how to run a campagne.
He does and says stupid things that hurts his image.

Its a good thing, he wouldnt make a good president imo.

I have faith Trump will win the Commander In Chief position and do great things for America.

The debates will be the eye opener - guaranteed.

Trump right now

The media's been saying this every week since like July 2015 though.

When it's mostly controlled by liberals - what else would you expect?

There is no arguing that. But in all honesty I do find it strange that she still managed to get herself out of every mess she was in without a scratch. The DNC leaks pretty much prooved that she was the favoirite candidate. I am not supporting anyone (why should I, I am not living in the US) but every sign point towards dirty play from her part.
