And no, 3DS didn't outsold it a lot times in the recent weeks, except if by ''lot'' you mean the last 3 weeks in which YW3 launched, you know the biggest recent franchise in Japan? YTD is bigger because 3DS has like 4 models that are dirty cheap with 30 colors and has tons of software unlike PS4 which still costs 35.000 Yen and 99% of it's software is multiplatform with PS3 and PSVITA. So yeah that little something that PS4 did in the last months can be described as dominance in the smartphone land.

PS4 is the only console (handheld or not) that outsells (even barely) it's predecessor. Meanwhile 3DS has a huge drop compared to DS and let's not talk about WiiU and Wii...

lol what kind of reply is that? when i put some evidence and logic on the table you don't want to discuss it? When you post things that don't make sense i will quote you and reply back for the sake of the people who read this thread and want to be informed.

To be fair, people to claim dominance for either way too easily (I mean if you want to say Ps4 is dominating the market, sure go ahead, market is shrinking so quickly, it can dominate it) (handheld market is also shrinking).

Honestly comparing PS4 to PS3 Japanese numbers is like comparing NX to Wii U Japanese numbers if NX is successful (which now that I say this outloud, people will do this constantly.... sigh). 

Both sides really should stop treating 3DS and PS4 as equals I agree, some people in this thread are huge offenders of that. Both are doing meh, and both are absolutely destroying their competition, I think this week it is 3X. 

By the way I was not defending the user you quoted, I was just explaining my thoughts on the subject and honestly should have replied to your other post. 

It's not the same. NX should pass WiiU easily and no one will say anything. Truth is, in here and in other forums people were predicting that PS4(before it's launch) will sell 4 million in it's lifetime in Japan and will never outsell PS3 or WiiU. Now it's selling more than PS3 and will sell more than people predicted. And while this is not something to brag about the same people who were all doom and gloom about PS4 now will not say ''we were wrong'' but continue the whole ''doom and gloom'' only with a different excuse, comparing it with a handheld and such. They were doing damage control before and now they continue.

People should stop letting their favorite companies influence their minds and have an open mind about this things, that's my opinion.

Easy, is The reply of who already get how This will turn out, cause i don't comment usually, but i Read The discussion in The VGC Media Create threads, and what i see is that there is always The SAME discussion:

"3DS is a 6 years old console, impressive is outselling The PS4" then "but in a Death Market where only handhelds sells PS4 is selling so Close with 3DS impressive" bla, bla, bla.....

You mentioned lot of Things which were totally off topic with what i Said, like "PS4 is The only console which is selling better than The last console, while 3DS is down to DS", "3DS just fit The Release of YW3", "3DS cost way less than PS4", You don't Post evidence, You just something to discuss with 3DS VS PS4, while i just replied to a User which Said "PS4 was dominance". So here The Point, is PS4 DOMINANCE The Japan Market?

If You think yes, well Then try to Tell me where is that Domination. If You don't, then that is, we don't discuss which Sales are More impressive between 3DS and PS4, we don't talk if PS4 Sales are good or not, we don't talk how PS4 will Sell in future, we only talk ( at least I talk about This), if PS4 is dominate The Japan, JAPAN Market.

So... If you wanna talk about 3DS VS PS4, you choised The wrong User. Again, Say yes or no. Is "dominate" The right word?

Sp you think YW3 is off topic? The price of 3DS and PS4 is off topic? The state of market in Japan is off topic? Have you checked the thread we are in? Did you read the OP? How is it off topic with the things you said when all these are connected?
