"I compared the developers yea. I said developers clearly in original post, I said they were a buggy developer, sure your going to compare their body of work (games) but im only speaking on their development abilities in those titles and not how expensive or sales of the titles. I dont know why this isnt clear."

So you're going to compare their body of work "(games) but you're not comparing their games... but you're only speaking of their development abilities in those games... but you're not comparing games... You don't know why this isn't clear?

But whatever.  Even if you are talking about just developers, then (if you respond) answer this simple question.  Is it as bad for a developer (let's say DICE) to charge you 60 dollars for a broken game that you can't return afterwards, as opposed to letting you try the game before you pay for it?  Yes or no question.

Its not really relevant. Only reason you seem to think it is, is so you can invalidate peoples opinions of the game by saying its free. Which doesnt invalidate anything you can still give critisim out if something is free. We can judge works of art without painting. We can go to a theater and say that movie sucked when someone else payed for it. There is plenty of free to play games that people dont like just because something is free doesnt mean people cant be critical of it. Is that a factor in judging things sure however its not some overriding factor.

Don't tell me why I think things.  Cause you don't know why I think what I think which makes anything you say about it a lie. Mkay?

Anyway, free is a factor in judging things... but it's not really relevant.  And it makes no difference.  If it's a factor how is it not relevant O_o?  I'm honestly not trying to be a dick, but what you're saying is self contradictory and it's confusing me.

not playing it anymore. Sure. Why i play it and the fact i do doesnt invalidate my opinions aswell. It should only strengthen them.

You said it was broken.  I added completely, which was my bad, but I think it's splitting hairs.

You actually started this convo complaining about those that complain about the game.  "Oh, so the people bitching about this and saying they'd never again were being childish idiots? Who'da thunk,,," They can absolutely remove or block anything they want to dealing with their game. However it would have been alot more helpful to work with these apps and incorperate them into their game since they dont have anything at all. Its basicly like people modding your game people loving it and going F off all you modders. Except they are fixing a broken game and not just doing mods. Its just a dick move imo.

Dude... read the topic title and the OP.  It's specifically about the tracker.  And since I was the first response, I couldn't possibly have been talking about anything else.  What else could I have meant by "this" if not the tracker issue?  Context is important.

Things like Pokevision access their servers and use up bandwith.  That's their stated reason for wanting it taken down, and it seems legit enough, particularly considering that you're complaining about disconnections and server issues.   And even if they just didn't like them, it's still silly to complain about them not letting anything other than actual players connect to the game.  And, the feature you're talking about was down for less than a couple of weeks.

12 days since they have removed 3rd party apps. How long since the 3 step glitch? Another 15-20 days? So now we are talking 3-5 weeks..Yeah now your talking rediculous. The new system i dont think is going to be much better. Most of the things i want are not near pokestops sure alot of your building pokemons will be but your rare stuff or just stuff that doesnt pop up is going to be just as hard to find. Ive missed out on 4 maybe 5 snorlax's just because i cant track him down. The area isnt some consistant spot on the sightings so your running around with the game giving you general impressions but with a target that seems to be jumping around. I just had one down the road from my house and i obviously know my area i hit every road had him #1 on the sightings and he never showed anywhere and he appeared to be changing where he actually was each time he went off the sightings. So for me its not better its still subpar. And i likely wont be playing much longer and im sure im not the only one.

Uhhhhhhh... dude... the game has only been out for 5 weeks... So, it definitely hasn't been five weeks.

The new system is better, regardless of your ability to use it.  It's pretty intuitive.  Walk in one direction until it disappears from your list.  Walk in the opposite direction until it disappears, walk to the middle of the two points, and then check to your left till you find it or it disappears.  If that doesn't work, turn to the left till you find it.  Showing you Pokemon near stops is just gravy.

It's basically the same as the old system, except everything on your sightings list is two footsteps away.  And, things actually disappear from the list within ten seconds of when they disappear from the game.  What may be throwing you is that the order of the sightings is NOT in order of closeness like it was in nearby.  Hope that helps.

My wife and i probably have had to restart the game perhaps 15-20 times just today alone. Various issues. Freezing, Pokestops not showing, Sightings not working, ect ect. Um gyms have never had a issue that i can remember specificly. I wish they would tweak the balancing on them as they are impossible to hold and harder to maintain.

I haven't had these issues.  Not saying they don't exist, but I can only speak for myself.  If a pokestop doesn't show up, click on a nearby gym, then go back to check the pokestop.  Has worked every time in my experience.  Also, this issue can simply be a problem with your wireless.

I'm not sure what you mean by hard to hold and harder to maintain... aren't those the same thing?  At any rate, the game is designed so that it's WAY easier to take a gym than it is to hold it.  It's that way so that a few powerful people who play like 10 hours a day can't simply hold onto any gyms.  It's meant to be that way, and I think it's a good system.  Not perfect, but better than the alternatives I can think of.

I am obviously pretty close to this issue because i play the game a decent chunk of the day. I dont know if you do or not but acting like everything is perfectly fine and great couldnt be farther from the truth. I also dont feel like screaming from the rooftops and those that do sure are overreacting. I feel the truth on the subject is somewhere inbetween. Im not going to continue having some long conversation about this. Ive said what i have to say, i know your stance thats fine. Happy hunting.

I don't think I said anything of the sort.  I've been clear from the start I was talking about the reaction to this specific issue.  Ultimately, there are problems with the game, but I fully expected that based on the type of game it is, the complexity of it, the need for constant sync, the quick rise in players, etc.  The game is consistently getting better though, and I feel that the rate at which they're working on is satisfactory.
