One thing people were worried about when the NES Mini was announced was the quality of the emulator. (How it would look, how the controls would feel, etc.) But they have recently announced that the NES Mini will feature multiple display modes depending on each person's preference. The modes available are as follows-
- A retro mode that simulates old CRT screens, obviously for the nostaglia
-A modern screen mode that can play at modern resolution in a 4:3 format, probably the default
-Perfect Pixel mode which renders each pixel as a much larger square, likely will be useful for better clarity on larger TV's
