I'm intrigued by this. What's puzzling is that on the surface this looks exactly like Unity. And this game has an even more modern setting, which is a huge negative to me. So I remain sceptical.

Speaking of Black Flag/Rogue and the ship stuff, I loved the ship stuff. The sad thing was that it was very superficial. Gameplay-wise almost laughably simple. But the atmosphere and feeling was fantastic.

was a negative to me too, but it feels like AC, it's awesome.

I have actually been a little tempted to buy when it has been on sale on Steam. Threads like these increase the chance I will grab it next time lol

I think the graphics are amazing at least.

Do you own it through Steam or directly from Ubisoft?

How many hours have u put it in so far?

I only played assassin creed 2 and syndicate. Liked both. Although is not in the same league as others open world games.

Apparently I only played the gems of the series, good thing I am very demanding when comes to my time. But even liking syndicate I decided not to play the jack the reaper DLC, already burned out by assassin creed.

On steam, like 7 hours. It's really dense and there are a lot of side missions with real meaning. 0 bugs so far and it's optimized!

I liked assassins creed 3.

yeah me too, the ending was meh but the gameplay and story was great!

Yes, also i liked the feeling of getting lost in the snowy fileds.
Sadly the i felt really bored playing AC 4 and decided to say goodbye to the franchise.

It's ok. Borrowed it from a friend and played the first couple hours. Not much to distinguish it from Unity tbh, so I'm not sure why you're calling that one a POS, unless you played it at a point when it was basically unplayable.

Honestly I think the key to enjoying AC right now is just to step back from it a while between games. If you play one after taking a break for a couple years or so I'd say they're all good enough to enjoy quite a bit. It's when your start playing them continuously every year that they wear you out.

I'm playing it right now and it isn't bad, but it seems very repetitive. It's the largest AC game I've played yet the missions seem to not have much variety. Also the side stuff like taking over territories is essentially repeating the same stuff over and over. I've gotten pretty far in the game but haven't been able to complete it because I keep getting bored. For the record I loved AC2, Brotherhood and AC3.

It was very good!. Side missions were a bit repetitive but everything else was fine. Jack the Ripper dlc is also worth playing. Maybe not worth the 15€ price tag but if it's cheaper now, go for it.

I see it's priced at 20 bucks now on Amazon. I'll probably pick it up soon, that and Metal Gear Solid V (also 20 bucks currently on Amazon)

Ya fair enough I suppose. I played it after it got patched I guess. Perfectly fine game
