I read the first few pages and was confused about the complete and utter lack of mention of the Wire.

Such an incredible show, and it's aged incredibly well.

Um, I was the first one to mention The Wire (I haven't seen it yet, but I will definitely watch it some day) and I count at least 5 other mentions before your post.

I'm sorry I was unclear, I literally meant the few pages. I know there are several other mentions of the show but they come many posts in.

Ah okay. Im hope you don't mind a general suggestion: in your profile, under Settings > Preferences, you can increase the "forum posts per page". Makes the browsing much more comfortable in my opinion. I have my forum view set to 100 posts per page.

I didn't know that. I really appreciate the tip.

Great avatar by the way.

I loved Boardwalk Empire. Have always wanted to try The Sopranos. The few episodes I saw were really well done, even though I didn't understand the overall story.

I have no idea...

...because I never watched the show.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I found 70's Show hilarious. Reminded me of a bunch of my friends. Don't mind the laugh track though. I pretty much laughed as much as the laugh track anyhu.

You reminded me of another 2 great comedy series:

The Middle - prefer this over Malcom in the Middle

Modern Family

Pretty much all the non laugh track comedies that are currently on ABC are very good except for Uncle Buck which wasn't that good but I still would watch it over their two laugh track comedies Dr. Ken and Last Man Standing.  Malcolm in the Middle had a much better cast then The Middle especially Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek.

The cast might be better known or more appreciated thanks to Breaking Bad, but The Middle is more special for me as it deals with an average family and how they navigate lives ups and downs. There was this really good breakdown i watched of series which went through Modern Family, The Middle and Malcom in the Middle. If I find it I'll post a link.

Considering the love for Sopranos, I'm surprised you haven't watched Lillyhammer. It's got the guy from Sopranos in it and it's still a Mafia series. I think his name is Steven Van Zandt. You know the guy who kept doing Godfather impressions in Sopranos.

I actually watched Lillyhammer :)

Its not as good as the sopranos but its quite fun.

Im surprised anyone here even knows of it, since its a small budget swedish produced tv series.

It was a nice change seeing how a guy starts his business from scratch and how he deals with cultural barriers etc being away from home.
