Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump Gets Unnerved By A Crying Baby

Donald Trumps face should be shown on the wikipedia page for "asshole".

The way he handled it, showed a bit of lack of empathy. Not something you want from a leader.

Does a person need empathy to be a good leader?  Just asking, not really questioning.  And I do think it depends.  But let me just say for me as long as the United States is protecting its people such as myself so I can freely serve those around me to help one another is ultimately what matters to me.

Leader without empathy?..... dictator?

Imo yes, no good leader is without empathy.

It's fucking mind blowing to me that anybody would vote for this man.

- "If you have the heart of a true winner, you can always get more pissed off than some other asshole."

It started off kind of endearing: a cute, off-the-cuff remark about the unpredictability of babies. Then it got weird and uncomfortable. What kind of jerk makes a passive-aggressive comment to a parent who's probably mortified and self-conscious already?

To all our friends here in the US, please could you make sure this guy does not get to be your president?

I mean, world war 2 was really not cool (except in videogames) so you'd be doing us all a solid and make sure we'd still have a tomorrow to look forward to. Instead of worrying when the first nukes will start to fall, over some tantrum that man child would throw.

Just imagine that in the future our kids would be playing ww3 games where the US army is seen as the nazis, which honestly it would be quite unfortunate.

so let's just save us all the trouble ok? thanks :)

They just want America to be great again.

Starting with building the great chinese wall... of america, to protect itself from mexicans.

Dont worry about costs, we can just force that onto those dirty mexicans.

(do I need to put in sarcasm tags?)

Sometimes his behavor does have me abit worried, either way its gonna be intresting if he is elected.

The funniest part is he says out loud he likes babies crying, and then tells her to get the baby outta there a few moments later. Classic Trump.

It's like you can see the wheels in his head turning "be nice Donald, voters like babies, stupid voters like babies, cameras are on you, remember to compliment the baby and the woman .... oh FUCK OFF I'm going to kill that baby in five minutes".

He is like a Will Ferrell character come to life.

of course they do. We're talking about a person who gets to be involved in the process of deciding things like war and political alliances, decisions that can cause or prevents civilian deaths and potentially help or damage the average person's quality of life.

Empathy is one of the most important things a leader can have. Also think about the paradox of your question to begin with- the PEOPLE elect a President because they (generally speaking) believe that that person will make the best decisions FOR them. If a leader is elected who does not genuinely empathize or care about what the average American is going through, their strifes, their difficulties- then how on Earth can they properly priortize and help make good decisions for the populace as a whole?

sure the Justice System and Congress work hand in hand to serve the people but the Executive Office is the public face of America really- they need to be concerned about things like single parents out their with babies. Empathy is key. I mean unless you're suggesting that something like a perfectly programmed robot that just calculates the best decisions for people would be a good President. Regardless, the disturbing thing about Trump is that he seems to lack much empathy YET is quite emotional. Not such a great combination, a hothead concerned primarily with their own interests rather than the American people's interest.

Not that that should come as shocker- he's a billionare businessman who's lived a life with one question constantly in mind "how can I make more money off of people?"

It appears that your avatar empathizes with your response.  Good show.  It couldn't be timed any better.

just more evidence of how thin-skinned DT is

he can dish out the insults, but can't deal with the slightest of opposition/annoyances - exactly like a schoolground bully

Yeah it's hillarious how easy it is to get under his skin.

Apparently he still sends a letter every year to a magazine publisher in New York that suggested he had small hands two decades ago with a gold imprint of his hands saying he has big hands. They're yhhuge hands, the best hands, he has the best hands ok, believe me folkes.
