Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump Gets Unnerved By A Crying Baby

Watch the video.

This is hillarious, he's completely like a character from a movie or something, it would be funny if it didn't have actual consequences.

Thats some brutal honesty.. but jeez.. doesnt really scream compassion for that mother that went to see him, and had to take her baby with her.

it's bizarre, there are moments where for just a second I'm thinking to myself "hmmm, maybe Trump is somewhat redeemable, at least he's honest.... its refreshing to get a politician who isn't afraid to speak their mind"

and then he does something like this where he seems like a borderlin pyschotic.

I mean the first part was golden when he says "oh a baby crying? I love babies". cute, simple, the point, unexpected- something a PR agent would recommend. and then a minute later he absolutely flips it on his head and implies that he was subliminally suggesting the woman leave and take the baby away. Yet Trump can't even express it regularly and still does this bizarre few sentences where he, again, seems to partially indicate he is still being silly (?).

I agree with some other sentiments, his actions almost seem comical and as if he doesn't genuinely want to be in office. I mean for gods sake how could you have anyone in office with the power to like launch nuclear weapons (or short term invade another country or whatever the President has) who gets flustered and immature over a baby crying in an audience of thousands?

strange, very strange.

I can't stand it when my 5 year old whines for nothing. But seriously, most people take things a bit too... seriously. It is what it is. Roll with it.

seriously, that's one of his supporters who probably lives an extremely stressful life (single mother with the only choice to bring her baby with her to see Trump live?), and he gives her this bizarre passive agressive shit where he makes her feel comfortable and then is like "nopeeee I wasn't serious". ew.

I think it would have been less weird if he had just vaguely been like "hey I'm speaking here, could you please do something about the kid", but instead he does this very weird thing where he acts like a crowd pleaser calling the baby cute and "its fine", only to backtrack a moment later....

Not sure if I should laugh or facepalm or both

Why is he such a fucking asshole, and why do people think he should be President?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

He's like a villain from the 80s Robocop movie.

The way he handled it, showed a bit of lack of empathy. Not something you want from a leader.
