Do people still care for reviews?

just watch it. if you didn't like it, too bad. no one is forcing you to like it or watch it

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Oddly enough IMDB has it at 9.2 from 5000+ user reviews.

Although reading some reviews I don't know how the user scored it 9 or 10, saying things like although the plot is bad and pacing is off, it's not worth taking away points.

Here in the UK, a ticket can cost around £14. Some people have tight budgets and can't afford to go watch every film, especially if they go with their partner. The Last thing you want to do is spend £50 on 2 tickets a drink and a popcorn and the movie turns out to be shit.

Gotta admit I'm surprised. This looked like it had all the makings of a fun summer blockbuster. Figured it would review quite nicely.

A lot of my favorite movies have lower scores than that...

I'm still hyped.

I just read the IGN review, and just feel like its deffenitely not worth going to the theatre for, too bad.

"Someone on the Internet said it was bad, so I'm going to take them as an absolute authority on the subject and not see this movie to determine if it was good or bad myself."

That's exactly what you're saying. Keep in mind these reviews are written by one person each who have their own biases and flavors they enjoy. DCEU films are clearly shot and produced with different tones, themes, and even color palettes than Marvel's films. I don't think many of the MCU films deserve the praise they receive but I've seen all of them...

Damn that's rough but as always I'll ignore all reviews and judge the movie myself.

Yes cause I like spending money on things that aren't a waste of time and money? $14 gets me a large pizza and some really tasty wings where I live so if the movie is likely to be shit, I would rather spend the money on something thats good...

I can still watch it on netflix eventually or yar it when it comes out but a low review score means that I have a higher chance of not liking it so yes, I do still care about reviews. (And people who value money should too)

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

That's a shame. Probably won't bother watching it now
