I would say Mickey is more identifiable than Mario.

Pikachu moreso than Mario too.

I believe after Pokemon Go, you may be right, it may be pikachu

As the older generations die out Mario will be more recognizable. However, I always felt like Pikachu was more identifiable than Mario by a long shot.

Both characters are quite recognizable, but I'd say Mickey just edges over Mario.

Mickey but I'd say some superheroes are more recognisable than Mario. Do people in the Seychelles recognise Mario more? Do people in India?

They're both up there but Mickey's been around longer so I'm giving him the edge.

Mickey Mouse is more recognizable for very young people and for old ones. I mean from 2 to 7 and from 50 to 100. I think most people from 7 to 50 know who is Mario, but at the same time Im sure almost all know who is Mickey.
So. Its Mickey. No contest.

Mickey imo.

I think this is more of an american thing. Most kids I know don't even know who Mickey Mouse is... and that's probably because he's not in a lot of cartoons/movies anymore.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Mickey Mouse probably when considering EVERYONE, more age ranges. Mario probably is as well known by anyone around the world under 40.  Most people in country's with current tech/entertainment are going to know who both are

for younger generations maybe, but believe it or not a tonnnnnn of people from the age range of like 40-80 who I speak to on a regular basis have no idea who Pikachu is. like if you show them a picture of Pikachu they will recognize it sort of and be like "Pokemon?' but many don't know the name of that particular Pokemon

Mario is far well recognized because he is an individual mascot. Pokemon as a WHOLE may be as recognized as Mario but its popularity is spread between a bunch of diff characters (Charizard, Squirtle, Meowth, Snorlax, etc etc)
