Forums - Politics Discussion - Buzzfeed Quiz Alert: How Much Of A Feminist Are You?

You checked off 26 out of 50 on this list!

You’re super in-tune with what’s going on in the world–especially when it comes to feminist issues. Keep doing you and stay woke.

I have no idea what woke means, but I'll do my best to stay it. And...doing me I guess.

Not sure how legit the test is though.

I hope you've all worn your hazmat suits because once you click the link below you are going to enter a place where Beyonce is a figure of female emancipation and the belief that women are paid less than men is still going strong.

You do know that the wage gap still exists do you?

Sorry but you're wrong.

OT: I got 17/50

No, i hate how biased they are. Their questions are also worded strangely.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

I checked 29 although I have no clue what the actual feminist definitions or issues are.

I guess the questions are worded weirdly as women are better at language than math, can't subtract points only add up :p

Some I didn't check because it's rather the opposite of what they're trying to get at. I believe women are emotionally stronger than men and also better at negotiating through listening, thus more suited to be in politics or at the top level in corporations.

I think companies should offer more child-friendly time and programs to women and men who are having children.
Feminist quiz still needs some work on equality.

37 out of 50. I would expect more, but I don't know about some things in the quiz. But a very good quiz in my opinion.

The wage gap has been debunked over decades by economists. Even Dr. Christina Hoff Sommers, one of the few credible feminists says it's completely misleading. If someone is paid less for the same work, that's a violation under the Equal Pay Act of 1963. If one feels they are suffering under this supposed "wage gap" why not call the department of labor? Plus, if it were really true that women were paid less than men for the exact same work, wouldn't employers fire almost all of the men and hire women to enjoy most of the profit? One of my first jobs was working in AT&T but it wasn't the corporate store. All employees were paid off the books except the other three employees got around the same while my Boss only paid me $200 a week for 45 hours (I was hired months after them). Was it discrimination? No. He was doing shady business practices to get more profit for himself. He needed another worker to fill in but at the same time, he wanted to exploit the fact that I was fresh and new in the working field.

Some questions were vague, but these tests are always terrible anyway
