Forums - Gaming Discussion - Guy jumps from 25,000 feet without a parachute into a net

What an idiot. Reminds me of the youtube guy who would do handstands on top of tall buildings. Eventually he died by falling off.

... was expecting Superman.

Mods, please close this thread for a misleading title. And not supplying Superman.

The adrenaline rush. It's can be the ultimate high. Also to push he limits on we think is possible. Both the first times I went bungie jumping and sky driving, I immediately wanted to do it again. The rush is unreal.

Quite an achievement since 250k feet is well into space :p

pretty incredible, can't imagine the rush when he was about to land. I mean you have to understand how easy it could have been to screw up, the net space i comparison to distance he covered getting there was insanely small :O

what makes him an idiot? the reality is he DIDNT die because he trains doing that sort of thing all of the time, and if he HAD died at least he would have died doing something he loved, few can say that.

I also will point out that there are a LOT worse ways to die than falling 20,000 feet from the sky and being squashed like a pancake. you would feel NOTHING, instantaneous death. lot better than going swimming with sharks or something.

And, again, he didn't die. But objectively speaking he's not an 'idiot', he's simply doing something marginally risky that you yourself would never try. But let's stay in the realm of reality here- for this guy it is not quite the feat that it would be for your average Joe. we're talking about someone who has jumped from planes thousands of times

Looks kind of fun assuming it actually works as intended lol, I wouldn't trust it myself.

Maybe add one more zero and he could jump from the moon!

4 more zeros. I think. Do you understand how lazy I am?
