Isn't Dreamfall: The Longest Journey a sequel already? And then there's Dreamfall Chapters which I'd love to play but it's not available on X1.. maybe I'd spend 1 billion dollars for a X1 port heh.

From some quick calculations I think I'd have spent about 750 million $ on development and marketing. My triple A rpgs won't be any longer than 25-30 hours (sweet spot), drastically lowering money spent, and modern updates to JSR(original games cost like $5M) and Panzer Dragoon(short by nature) could be done on a budget less than $50M combined.

Id actually love to see one made.

They wouldnt have to go all out with graphics either.

A small studio could easily made a new one, in the same style as the original was, with focus on the humor and gameplay.
