Forums - General Discussion - Almost all men are stronger than almost all women - A dataisbeautiful graph

That's true, but as a woman I could be very persuasive, and that's stronger than muscles :P

Facts are sexist

Men will always be stronger than women.

I think we all know theres physiological differnces between the sexes?
Not just physically but psychological too.

Which effect stuff like gender roles.... and your grip strength.

I don't get this. It's a pretty commonly accepted fact that almost everyone I've met acknowledges.

Ah, that explains why girls never give me a wristy as good as I can.

How dare you! Men and women are exactly the same with no physiological differences because I say so and FEEL that way!

Nah but seriously I love this sort of data. Shuts up a certain kind of people.

I've never seen a legit argument over whether the average man is stronger than the average woman.

O.P: I think grip is an awkward metric for strength. There are several owls which have a stronger grip than any recorded human man.

Currently, it doesnt matter. Modern society created standards which dont demand women be physically stronger than men to show strength. The western world presents opportunities for social equality that did not exist when humans were in their earlier primal state facing the elements and other animals. Men took took themselves out of the unknown into civilization. Mans position at the top depends on what they make it and they created a system where social equality is more easily attained (and thats not a bad thing). Its as simple as that.

I feel triggered by this. I think I'll go call the police and write a blog post now. Also; I'm actually on the upper end of the spectrum for males!
