Forums - Sony Discussion - How PlayStation VR Unsold Me: ZyroXZ2 Entertainment Gaming

Call me crazy, but it sounds like he's throwing around a lot of terms he doesn't understand.

So what's the effect that he didn't liked and he called polarization but is not really polarization? Some idea of what could be?

I'm sorry, I feel like you have a valid point in there somewhere...but those are not sentences. Those are vaguely related words stuffed together.

Please try that again...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Ops, Sorry for my english, I was not making any point though, I was making a question, he talks about a lack of vibrance on the image and he says that is caused by the polarization, but that doesn't make any sense in this case, then why there's a lack of vibrance? Maybe is something easy to fix, or he is just nitpicking? Maybe is a real problem?

I honestly don't know. I've never seen anyone else complain about the vibrancy or brightness of the display nor did I experience any issues either time I used it.

Oh, and sorry. I forgot English isn't your first language.

Perhaps the lenses weren't correctly adjusted for him (eye relief + IPD) and the display brightness wasn't at max settings. Not every tester will "waste" his limited time with going through the whole setup process but just use the settings of the previous person.

http://iwagglevr.com/2016/03/gdc-2016-playstation-vr-whats-box/

"The eye relief (distance between eyes and optics) can be further adjusted by manually pulling/pushing the whole visor back and forth while holding a button located on the bottom (see picture below). Prescription glasses are fully “supported”."

"It goes without saying the virtual IPD (distance between the two cameras representing your eyes into the virtual world) will be adjustable via software (and possibly stored in the user profile)."

Yeah that could be the case.

PSVR and VR in general unsold itself when it revealed its prices and its less-than-impressive games.

I'll wait until quantum computers are a reality before diving into VR gaming.

Good thing that I don't actually watch ZyroXZ videos to inform myself, only for entertainment purposes. This video delivered, but not in the way his videos normally do

I wanna believe this guy is joking..... i mean how can he spend however long it took him to think of this video, make it, edit it then upload it and be talking about polarization.

When stuff like that happens it sends chills down my spine; mostly as a realization of how stupid the voices of the gaming industry really are. Mind boggling.
