North Korea is super gay. But gay in a lame way, not in a cool homosexual way.

All talk and no play. This is NK as we have known them for the last 35years. They love to do their propaganda wars, not actually do something. The US shouldn't invade, they should fly with planes above them and drop flyers telling people about the world outside, both the good and the ugly side.

That would be the most suicidal thing ever, to declare war or do something violent DURING a week of war games or whatever- they would be immediately decimated.

North Korea just blah blah blah's for attention. Unfortunately the war order has pandered to them and given them supplies and donations when they cry out and threaten people just to shut them up in the past. And that's exactly what they're hoping for more of, cry out that they'll cause a headache so people will continue to give them focus and help their regime survive in a twisted way. Granted whenever goods are shipped to North Korea its intended to help the innocent populace at a whole (which it doesn't).

the real casualties of war with eliminated North Korea would not be US soldiers it would be the civilian population of North Korea AND the Military/civilian population of South Korea.

really South Korea is the problem. They would lose millions of lives because I think it's fairly safe to say that the crazy leadership in NK would go kamikaze 'out in a blaze' with an attempted invasion into South Korea if a war started. I think its quite obvious North Korea could be destroyed fairly quickly, just bomb them from the air and don't even send any US soldiers in. But unfortunately it would just be an absolute mess in terms of the ground for BOTH Koreas

I actually honestly am fairly certain if a large scale escalation occured between North Korea and SK/USA that China would attempt to invade from the North almost immediately. There would be no chance of North Korea winning that sort of altercation and China is after any resources or land they can get their hands on at the moment (think false claims on the hundreds of miles of sea beneath them)

so the question is whether or not China would get involved quickly enough to entirely squash North Korea. If that happened I am not sure to what extent North Korea would be able to make it into South as I get the feeling that the mass majority of military personel and citizens would defect if their 'ally' from the North came in to 'liberate' them

at any rate the real loser in the whole situation of North Korea pretending to be a threat to the world are the North Korea citizens themselves. Starving and brainwashed, its just sad. I mean even if the vast majority of citizens AREN'T brainwashed, they are absolutely helpless in terms of the grip that the government maintains on the people, especially with a standing military of like a million soldiers

North Korea should unite with South Korea and destroy this sad excuse of a dictatorial regime.

Unfortunately, the only path to unification now appears to be an invasion by one or the other.  In the case of overthrowing the North's regime, you are looking at an all out invasion and long term recovery as the people of NK would need time to shake the brainwashing of the NK regime.  As we've seen in the Middle East, it's not so easy as killing the dictator and everything turns to fields of roses with rainbows and sunshine.  

I wouldn't be so sure about that. China has made it absolutely clear that they aren't to keen on influence by the west. Trying to invade North Korea would most certainly feel like the west trying to get influence in the far east. Just look how batshit crazy Putin went when the Ukraine was only considering talks with the EU. Not every nation feels good about NATO and stuff. There are also folks who want them as far away from them as they can.

Secondly, China wouldn't need to directly step in. It would be enough if they supported Korea with Weapons, Goods, Ammunition and even soldiers under false flag. That way they wouldn't have to actually declare war on anyone but with their major resources they could give the US and the NATO a real headache in a fight for the north. In the end, I don't think it's worth trying out. Let's also not forget that NK has nukes. They may be horribly outdated and most likely they only have them in single digits, but they are still nukes anyway.

Only if North Korea strikes first I can see a scenario where NK can be taken relatively easy without another major force stepping in. But I think the North Korean regime is very well aware of that and that's the reason why they don't dare to do anything. They can't rely on their chinese supporters if they make the first step. I actually think they are trying to get the US to do something stupid. Because of that, I still hope Trump doesn't get elected. Until this day, US presidents were smart enough to not give two fucks about what NK is saying. But Mr. Trump tends to act first and think later. If he even thinks at all... But well, that is another topic for itself.

Oh no! Another threat from North Korea. I hope we don't get annihilated again like last year. My advice to North Korea is to shit, or get off the pot.
