Forums - Politics Discussion - Prediction: Hillary Will Lose

Honestly, everyone is trying to get me to vote for her over Trump, and I'm sitting here like, Yes, Trump is an absolute moron and his running mate is a religious conservative shitbag.....
But Hillary LITERALLY rigged an election.
How is this not fucking treason?

Seriously, CNN was about to cover it but then cut it off. What was the BREAKING NEWS they went to? Boyz to Men 20th anniversary performance. I am not fucking with you...

People should not vote for either Trump or Clinton. You'd be better of voting for a 3rd party candidate like Jill Stein (sorry Garry, but I don't like Libertarians). Or if you really don't feel like any of these candidates, stay home. It's not advise I'd normally give, but Clinton and Trump are bad on 2 different, but equally worse levels.

I agree. Instead of wasting lifetime by discussing which of the two (Clinton or Trump) is the lesser evil, we just could agree that both are horrible. But everywhere, if you start point out problems of one of the two, some people start defending this candidate by showing the other is even worse. Both are bad. Both are worse. Both are worst.

The only sensible choice this time is voting third-party or staying at home.

I'm waiting for the debates as right now is 50/50 who will win.

I think in that format Clinton will beat Trump, but see how voters respond.

Good god, the comments in this thread are a dumpster fire. People are making such leaps in logic to connect the dots between DNC staffers trying to slander Bernie and the whole election being rigged for Hillary. Dear Bernie supporters, please listen closely, Hillary did not win because the system was rigged, she won because she received 3.2M more votes than Bernie. That's it. That's the whole ballgame right there. There was no conspiracy. There was no stolen election. Hillary won because she got millions more votes. Please don't make this into something it's not. And believe me, I was a Bernie supporter. I even donated to his campaign. But I have to say, the behavior of many Bernie supporters this past week has been truly reprehensible. Bernie himself has said that we must unite to defeat Trump. As far as I can tell if you oppose that then you're part of the problem, not the solution.

1. So the one who retweets white supremacists/KKK,

2. praises Kim Jong Un and Sadam Husain,

3. says that torturing families is ok, and

4. will deport muslims,

is the lesser evil?
Damn, Hillary must be a badass. I bet she eats live bunnies for breakfast.

Honestly, what will decide if Donald Trump wins is how much he can play off of people's ignorance and fears.

5.

1. Trump has adressed this saying that he obviously doesn't check who is behind every tweet. Have you never agreed on something that a nazi/communist/racist/fascist/whatever might have said?

2. He said that Saddam was good at killing terrorists, while getting rid of him turned Iraq into a Harvard equivalent to terrorist reqruitment. Was he wrong?

3. He said that targeting families might be okay in certain circumstances to get a hold on terrorists. It is well known that wives, brothers, uncles/etc. oftentimes defend and support their terrorist relatives.

4. The only Muslims he will deport are the ones who misbehave. What he proposes, after some backpedaling, is banning immigration from countries whose migrants pose a significant risk of being- or eventually turning into terrorists. But even his initial proposal to ban all Muslim immigration, however proposterous that may sound, made no mention of deporting lawful Muslim immigrants already in the country.

5. That is a false quote applied to an image from his 1988 appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. He never said anything of the sort, though I'm sure he and most voters have thought it at some point.

I could apply this same formula to this entire thread, but as it happens I don't have that much time on my hands. Instead I'll simply urge you all to not trust everything that the media says, be it liberal or conservative.

Donald Trump is a very smart man, he is a billionaire and he has worked hard for his success in life. Trump started from a humble beginning and through blood, sweat and tears he has became super rich and successful in life. Trump embodies the American spirit of strength. If you are not as rich as Trump and oppose him, you are envious of his wealth.

Humble beginnings?  Since when is starting out with millions "humble"?  If that's humble beginnings then I don't even want to know what my current situation would be called.

Also, the idea that if you oppose Trump while not being as rich as him you're just a hater is one of the stupidest arguments I've ever heard.  With any luck this was a joke post and my indignation has been wasted, but if it's not I just don't understand where you're coming from.  You realize that Hillary is way richer than you too, does that mean that anyone who is more poor than Hillary and opposes her is just envious?

Humble beginnings my ass.  Keep repeating that lie and then maybe someone might believe it.

I think we both got conned.  He is good because I believe he did the same quote in a Trump thread a few months back.  So this is the second time I've been conned by him.

There is an old saying in Tennessee, I know it is in Texas, it's probably in Tennessee, it says fool me once... Shame on you?... Fool me can't get fooled again.

It's not that people think Hillary was connected with it.

It's that things were manipulated to put her in office, meaning there are ulterior motives. Otherwise, the voting process would have been fair and Bernie would have won the Democratic ticket.
