Forums - Politics Discussion - Chancellor Merkel keeps open-gate policy, outrage breaks out

Merkel is crazy. She doesn't live in the real world. The Germans don't want their doors open and they're right. Syrians should be temporarily housed in neighbouring countries until they're ready to go home

Yet she will be elected again in 2017 I guarantee it. If the Germans want to screw up their demographic table, we can't stop them. They wouldn't vote for an extreme right party for the national elections. Oh and they will not go home for a very long time. It will take at least two decades before that region will ever be safe. Iraq hasn't been sage since Sadam is dead and will not be for a long time. Syria, Afghanistan etc will not be any different.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Germany is demographics will probably go to shit if they let them all in for the next 10 years. Mainly due to the fact that the flow of immigrants mainly consists out of lowly or non educated males between 20-35. Figuring that Germany has about 10 million males of that age, they will become a minority within their own country. Educating and integrating at least one million immigrants and reffugees is nearly impossible. But at least they will go to shit freely and democraticly. If you don't like the way Germany is going I would suggest going to UK while you still can or Eastern Europe and build a life there. Because Europe won't do anything to secure their borders like US or Australia. They surely won't kick you out once you are in.

UK is being flooded with immigrants as well! Same thing with France! Only reason Italy still isn't is because they're poor! Western Europe is already demographically screwed! I expect a mass exodus of western Europeans to Central and Eastern Europe (any maybe even southern Europe?) as the situation continues to degrade in Britain, France, Germany, and parts of  scandinavia.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

They should have put all their efforts to funding a high quality 2 million person refugee camp in Turkey.

If someone would just go and annihilate ISIS for good, the flood of refugees would stop. For doing so, we need to cooperate with Assad. But no one wants Assad to be the leader of Syria, therefore we do nothing.
One other issue is, war costs money and lifes. When there is no possible gain from winning the war, then no one will go for it even if it would stop the flood of refugees.

"more than many Islamic countries(surprisingly)"

Kinda. Its not surprising when looking at the amount of animosity the people of the middle east direct at each other.

Well there isn't really an option, other than a party that leans MORE to the left, and a right-winged radical one. Not really that easy to decide?

Sucks to be a German that is not a fan of massa immigration and doesn't agree with the extreme right at this moment I guess. Oh well our so called xenophobic Islamophobe racists have warned that this could happen. Turned out they where not totally insane after all, perhaps they need to be elected once, because the left side doesn't have or want to have an answer.

No party alone is able to archieve 50% It always comes down to CDU/CSU (the christian democrats) or the SPD (socialists) which get the most votes (around 30%). Those collaborate with one or 2 more parties which share most of their goals like Die Grüne(environementalists), FDP( liberals (?))or Die Linke (earlier known as PDS..a party from the DDR times)

New to the party are Die Piraten (pirates) which have shown that they have no clue at all of what they want to do and AfD ( the alternative one for germany) which are just another bunch of Neo Nazi's in my opinion who can't get anything done, because they don't really know where to go...

And you have the neo nazi party NPD which only get the votes by their own stupid followers and some people who do demonstrative votings.

So, the parties who have more than 50% of the votes together can rule the country, but have the opposition most of the time against them.

So in the end, it comes always done to the same parties have one time more power and one time less power.

Well, let's go for the option of voting the rightwing party, because the only concern you have are refugees fucking up your country. Let's go as far that that party will deal with the refugee crisis by not letting them in in your country so you can sleep safely at night. That issue may be resolved for you, but the goals of such a party are even worse than the issue you had with the refugees. So much worse that it completely fucks your country in a way you wouldn't have thought about. And refugees would be the smallest of all your problems.

Please show me what are all those problems the rightwing would bring to the country and economy when opposed to what left wing have already managed to screw up.
