I haven't seen anyone talking about the updated software sales on the investor relations part of Nintendo's website, so I went ahead and compiled all of the June 2016 figures and compared them to the March 2016 ones. Just as a reminder, these numbers are from April 1, 2016 to June 30, 2016, and the numbers reflect physical game shipments as well as digital sales.

Keep going award #1: Mario Kart 8 needs 1.06 million more to outsell Super Mario Kart (according to VGChartz)

Keep going award #2: Pokémon X and Y need 620 thousand more to outsell Pokémon Black and White (according to Nintendo shipment data)

Keep going award #3: Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire need 480 thousand more to outsell Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver (according to Nintendo shipment data)

Pleasant surprise award: Wind Waker HD is ahead of Mario Party 10 again!

Fake-out award: Super Mario 3D World was not passed by Smash Bros, though they were just 20k apart last quarter.

Splatoon is overtracked, so vgchartz will need to fix it. Still insane sales for a console that has barely reached 13 million sales.



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Well vgchartz tracks it as 4.45 million physically as of June 25th. Not off by much, but even so, Splatoon must've gotten some digital sales, so there is overtracking. In any case, its at least 0.04 million. Though if we're assuming a modest 10% digital sales (lower than the industry average), than vgchartz is overtracking by 450,000 units.

Glad to see ORAS selling so well a year and a half after release. Hope it beats HGSS. Also happy to see that 3D world passed 5 M. The Nintendo Selects treatment definitely helped.

Imagine how many sales Wii U games would have if it had the Xbox One's hardware sales.
