1) What pokemon was it? Surprised it wasn't mentioned

2) For those being salty, just don't play the game. Jeez. Complaining about something nonstop is a waste of time. It makes you look petty and childish. Just move on.

I don't think it was for a specific Pokemon I think they were just planning a gathering in an attempt to get Niantic to give them preferential treatment when they finally do launch the Legendary events ingame.

SHEEP!
ITS A REALLY BAD KNOCK OFF OF TRUE POKEMON GAMES.

It's like Night of the Living Pokemorons everywhere now

The amount people who are sour about the game's success is astounding. So salty.

Anyway, this is insane. I mean, I think it's safe to assume that this is even somehow a BIGGER phenomenon than that of the original games. Too bad Nintendo didn't develop this themselves. They'd be on cloud 9 if they did and the servers probably wouldn't be so fried. Congrats to Niantic and Nintendo/Pokemon Company! Now get Gen 2 fired up!

Agreed. They don't like seeing others have fun I guess

Not really, it all started as a simple meeting to play together, but then the meeting got a ton of confirmations and they saw the potential to break the record and get attention, but the confirmations were not made in base of that.

That's cool, but under what circumstances? Isn't it a bit sad that we get these gamer guys to meet each other only as a consequence of such a weird activity? To me it seems artificial and a bit sad.

Dude, you're on a gaming forum and play Elder Scrolls.

And that's a bit sad too. It's not exactly something I very often admit to anyone in the outside world that I spend time on a gaming forum lol.

Kill those complexes, they are toxic for yourself

And have people look down on me just for some meaningless principle? No thanks lol

Poor police, it must be a security nightmare. Unfortunately, a terrorist attack in a crowded place like this is possible while using Pokemon Go to gather a lot of people. Didn't the terrorist in the german mall used some promotion or something like this to lure people at a same place?

Not saying this against Pokemon Go at all, I'm playing when I can and it's a great idea ("Young people should be at home in front of their computer instead of outside strolling and playing with friends" is a pretty ironic argument against it...), but the possibilities are not all positives...

(I also may be thinking like this because I'm French, huge crowd gatherings are kinda touchy right now here...)

Must be painful to care so much about acceptance from others who have such negative stereotypes about your hobbies in their heads.
