I'm still holding hope that they made a actual console. Like I said if they make a new console I'll be there.

Right but thats not my question. I know you want a completely different system (with no support ) but if they made something like Vita TV for this and that was all would you purchase that??

Wait. You're asking me if I'll buy a rebranded Nvidia Shield but without access to Steam?

I find it likelier that I'd buy a WiiU instead. At least that's a real console, lol.

This is stronger and will have a better library if rumors are true... Why would anyone ever chose WiiU > NX

I dunno. It depends on the games. And price. But you're right. I'd prefer a console. I'd look at anything less in a negative light. Nintendo consoles always feel like a premium experience compared to the handhelds.

Thats why I dont understand some people If its more powerful then WiiU and its the only system Nintendo are making it would be like if WiiU recieved all of the support and games the 3DS did. Which is what every Nintendo home console fan should want.

Imagine having Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter etc. all coming to the WiiU instead of 3DS. Thats what it should be like with the NX.
As a Nintendo fan who who only plays the handheld because thats were the best games are I couldnt be more excited for this idea.

You know, I hate constant updates and games that get into 16-40 GB patches, ridiculous. The cartridges era meant games were ready when you bought them, that I miss.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

cartridges dont have anything to do with that, when we had cartridges the consoles had no internet, once Nintendo makes another console based on cartridges there will still be internal memory, maybe even memory on the cardridge, and there will be DLC and Updates, depending on the quality of the console, textures and size of games, they will just be huge patches too, Obviously its nice to have something complete but patches are not all-bad, look at the witcher 3 and how that game improved from already being voted game of the year.

Yes, you are right. Just nostalgia kicking in I guess, games were also much simpler back them...

But on the Nintendo NX issue, I am really sad about how mundane the new console is, just a mish-mash of stuff. I thought Nintendo was going to surprise everybody with a really really out-of-the-box concept.

I suppose storage is also going to be an issue because portable means no HDDs.

i know that nostalgia, I remember blowing in my NES cardridges to "fix" them from not booting up ^_^. and my huge collection of Gameboy games that I took with me everywhere.

Well its all Rumours for now but the NX does look like a HARD sell from a company that tried to sell something people didn't really want with the Wii U and even with the 3D functionality on their excellent handheld, this might just be something they can't sell if it turns out to be too expensive or too confusing, its not a home console, but not a portable, but it can be both, and guess what third parties, IT DOESNT HAVE THE SAME architecture as the other consoles because we knew you would love that :P:P
