Today, Apple is expected to have earnings of $1.39 a share (or 7.51 billion dollars in profit, though it isn't stated if this is GAAP or non-GAAP, gross or net), which is down from $1.85 a share a year earlier. Revenue is also expected to come in lower than last year, at $42.1 billion this quarter compared to $49.6 billion at the same time last year. This decline in earnings and revenue is more likely due to the decline in iPhone sales from the year earlier, and poor demand for the product in China. The outlook for Q4 will likely also indicate whether Apple will be having a more optimistic stance on future iPhone sales, or one in which they expect continued decline. Analysists are expecting revenue of $45.7 billion in the September quarter (Q4).
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
