Forums - General Discussion - Political correctness has gone too far. (LGBT) people now holding langauge hostage?

I've spoken out against political-correctness for a long time, and its damaging effects on society. I have no problem with people being Gay, but now we have stupid issues like how people aren't really their gender, and thus they should use the other bathroom! We focus too much on the little things in society, eventually it'll come rushing down! I have no problem with personal freedom, but only to a point. Should we now allow cousins to marry one another (because that is incest at this point), becuase that means more freedoms, thus being more "progressive".

Of course thats just icing on the cake, though I'm not going to throw this discusison off-topic.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I'd speak but I don't know what the hell you just said

"Trick shot? The trick is NOT to get shot." - Lucian

It's quite simple actually. PC speakers either fail to see or just want to force something. The real harm isn't on the word itself but on the intention.

Calling a friend nigger is a lot less damaging than calling your coworker African descendant but comparing to the poor development of the place.

What's that quote again?

Equality feels like persecution to people who are accustomed to privilege without knowing it.

This whole political correctness shit that the Americans have been brewing for the last decade or two is getting bonkers and has turned into some full on evil frigging shenanigans! Fuck me silly [just the tip please] I honestly didn't think it was going to infect the lads and lasses around me nor would I be confronted by this shit in a serious manor, "Now, John, You can't say that anymore! You have to obey the overlords on the TV news and use the proper term".

It is so damn bizzare I'm starting to wonder if the Soviets won some sort of exagerated, long game and actually managed to take Marxism and its stemming interpretations [Which are so cool btw :D #SocialismFTW] and weaponize it to slowly degrade any meaningful back and fourth from the worlds level headed liberals, conservatives and everything inbetween, to utter trivial nonsense.

Even the fucking terrorists [shagging freedom fighters] are confused, man! They don't even know who they should terrorize [fight freedom for]. The world is becoming the a sci-fi parody just like that of Brazil and 1984, but fuck it, at least Purnhub is still up and running in full HD.

EDIT:Sorry for the incoherent rant folks. Feels bad now. feels much bad.

I can understand you getting push back on this topic on a Gaming website. Where your opinion would be welcomed with open arms try a Neo-Nazi website. Tell me I'm wrong.

It's nice to belong to a group that has faced so little persecution that "stop being an asshole" equals "holding the world hostage".

This is what I think whenever I see all this anti-PC/white knight rhetoric in a post. Being expected to respect your fellow man (or woman or whatever one wants to identify as) is persecution...while persecution of minorities, LGBT, or women is alright, lol.

Reminds me of that song Straight White Male by Bo Burnham.

Can't understand a word you're saying.

A friend? Where do you live?

What?
