Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nindie Favourites Coming To Wii U Disc Under Nintendo eShop Selects Label- Fast Racing NEO and Steamworld collection!

Didn't expect this at all, pretty cool.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I think they should do some mega eshop collections. Maybe even RCMADIAX could put all their crappy games on one disc.

He want, has thinking on limited run games. But LRG don't release games for any Nintendo's platforms... A lot of indies with Nintendo version and still no phisical release.

Just a reminder that Runbow is getting a physical release on Wiiu/3DS. Although I don't believe it's part of this "eShop selects" line.

yeah....!!!! add it on to my collection!!!

I keep skipping that game, but heard it is good.

It's great. The main game is excellent, the expansion campaign is awesome, and it gets a lot of free DLC. I think Shantae is coming soon as a playable character.

Very good initiative by Nintendo (even if it comes a bit late in Wii U's life) and good selection of games.

I have to say I'm a bit surprised they aren't doing the same with Affordable Space Adventures after all the attention the game got from Nintendo.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Same, you'd think it'd be a no-brainer; it's an exclusive with high production values that makes extensive use of the Gamepad.

The two retail releases that have been announced here are branded with a label. It would be surprising if there weren't more games to come later this year.

True.

What other notable eshop games have yet to see a disc release and could be likely candidates? Did Guacamelee ever release on disc?

Freedom Planet is well received and would fit the Wii U library well.

A N64 classic collection seems like a no brainer as well. Put 6-10 games on one disc. People will buy! Snes as well.

That would ruin their plans to make an SNES Mini. :P
