CoD always gets a ton of hate even when they show a good trailer with good gameplay. as mentioned above it is a bandwagon thing.

CoD has been the "cool" thing that everybody buys every year for how long now? And now people wanna turn around and play the victim card because...what? A vocal minority on the internet is disliking the new trailers and saying it's shit? Boohoo. How dare they have a negative opinion of CoD. I mean really? The haters are the bandwagoners now? lol. Last time I checked, CoD is gaming's most popular, and profitable yearly franchise.....by miles. It dominates every other shooter year in year out. And somehow the minority that hates/dislikes it are the bandwagoners? I don't think you guys know what that means lol

When was the last time somebody was called a bandwagon fan for rooting against all dominating sport teams, like the Heat when they had Lebron, or the Warriors now, or the Patriots pretty much every year?

Look....it's ok if you think this game looks good. People like what they like. Nothing wrong with that. But there's also nothing wrong with thinking it looks bad. It's just as valid an opinion as thinking it looks great.

I just thumbed down the video without watching it. After all the recent violent acts in the world you'd think they should be promoting something else, truly disgusting. These games are influencing people to become shooters.

And no one in this thread have invalidated the opinion of those that think IW looks bad. Saying that you think there are many people that are hating on IW because they think it's the cool thing to do is not the same as saying everyone that dislike it only do it because it's the cool thing to do. Just because it's a vocal minority doesn't mean it's not a bandwagon. It's just like how hating on Justin Bieber was (is?) the cool thing to do among teenage boys, and hence "Baby" is one, if not the most disliked video on YouTube.

It looks amazing, I really love what I see from the game!
But I also hate what I see from the game because this is another futuristic Call of Duty...
Why can't we get a game like the old Call of Duty's in the WW1 or WW2 setting? :(

The first MW is the last COD that i was fully blown away, with the story.

The hate is simply bandwagoning. The game looks good, but people want to hate on it to fit in with the in-crowd, and right now the in-crowd is hating CoD and kissing up to Battlefield.

Sure, a lot of people have reasons not to like CoD, but I've never seen this many people actually go out of their way to look up CoD videos and dislike it, leave multiple messages on how the game and the series sucks, etc. Some people dislike it because ''CoD is ruining the game industry, every game is turning into it!''. Actually, no, most games are open-world now, and most games try to differentiate themselves from CoD to avoid competing.
