After seeing that Sonic 2017 is getting a NX port, I'm assuming that the Indie dev team that's making Mania couldn't get a NX dev kit from Nintendo.

Sega could had gotten one for them.

I thought they said they were going to have something to please everybody.

it especially doesn't make sense that it isn't on the 3ds. I don't know about everyone else, but sonic platformers are very fun on the go.

Was hoping it would be a new Sonic not a collection of remasters with a the odd new zone thrown in.

Sonic Generations was awesome. They could have just stuck with that concept and created a really great game of they wanted to.

Also, agree with everyone as for why they couldn't port to the handhelds since it's just a remaster collection.

Why would they? They're just giving him permission to use the Sonic liscense. Unless, they asked for one, no way that they would give them.

I'm upset that this is just PS4, XBO, and PC, this looks like an upscaled Genesis game, so there's absolutely no reason as to why the Wii U, NX, Vita, and 3DS shouldn't be getting this game!

Other than that, this game is what Sonic the Hedgehog 4 should've been.

Great to see Sonic back on Playstation

Made by the same team as generations, in just hoping the Zak Snyder inspired colour's don't make it to the full game and it isn't as dark either. 

Game looks great though. I really enjoyed generations. It was the first time I've played a Sonic game that was like the originals, but modern. I didn't say Sonic adventure as it only had a few seconds since you spent most of the time playing with other characters fighting, fishing, flying etc.

I get that by the time this game comes out the 3DS and Wii U will have started to get phazed out, but man if they really can't have a NX version the least they could do is put it on the old systems anyway, atleast 3DS especially since I don't need to play a 16bit game on an HDTV so I'd rather have the portability.
