FFXIV is on PS3/PS4 as well.

I would LOVE that. Maybe Blizzard could streamline the controls to work with gamepads?

Because its a "Typing of the nerds" game. Not good to play with a controller.

Was wondering this myself. And yes, if they ported every control option over, it would be impossible. However, it would be quite easy to streamline the controls for it to work on consoles. Of course, Blizzard would have to adopt a free online play model, and just charge $60 for the game, for many to buy it. I know I would never pay a monthly fee to play it.  And if I remember correctly, I think they already have micro transactions in the game, so they could make money there, as well.

Spaghetti code by the time online on consoles became popular. Rewriting the whole code would take way too much ressource to launch a game this old-looking with a subscription system and a genre that doesn't appeal to console gamers on console.

PS4 online is subscription based, why nobody has a problem with that?

I'd love for such a thing to hit PS4. I'm not a huge fan of MMOs but I'd love a great one like Warcraft. Mobile has a ton of MMOs but they all suck. In my opinion Warcraft set the bar for MMOs.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Yes, one paywall is the limit console gamers are willing to pay!
