Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

It would seem to me you dislike stories in games because they're not always good. The TLoU story is very good, Naughty Dog is very good at character animations and dialogue, and the opening sequence is amazing but the story is also predictable and derivative and for me, a plothole in the middle took me out when I played it years ago.

TLoU is nothing like any of those games listed so it might not be. Still, give the game a shot. Wouldn't hurt.

I have probably seen most plot twists and story spoilers: would the story be good even if you "know" what will happen in the end (I want to cry in the end - I heard everyone does! - I am quite easy affected by sentimental movies)

I enjoyed the ending but for some reason, some didn't. It didn't make me cry but I thought it was a good ending. The opening sequence was more powerful though.

As for knowing what will happen before it happens, does knowing what will happen in a movie you've never seen before ruin it for you?

Still a B, though maybe I'd bump it up to a B+.

Well, this is new.

I couldn't find anything that has come to its level of thrill and gameplay so far.

Well, to all the people who liked the game, we can pretty much agree this here is the best character, right?

Ellie chopping his face repeatedly was indeed one of the best parts.

Haven't played it, but doesn't look like anything too amazing at the distance I'm in.

I'm now filled with determination.

Purely from a gameplay and design perspective I always thought it was very overrated and still is. The writing, voice acting and cutscenes are still phenomenal for a video game.

I still think it's one of the best games I've ever played.
