The higher they rise the higher they fall. Best of luck Nintendo. But sustaining will be different.

Rise of Nintendo stock will continue and we dont know for how much long, game yet needed to be released in Japan, we don't really know how much fall will be, especially because Nintendo will have more anacumcents in near future, more mobile games, NX, Nintendo themed parks...

Stock soaring off of a game they had very little to do with. It wont last once the traders realize nintendo isn't going full mobile.

It's great news for Nintendo since that just makes investors want to invest some more ...

But like all investors they want things to go their way so Nintendo should try to make them even more happier if they want to sustain that much value at whatever cost ...

Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem are coming, I'm guessing Mario, Mario Kart, and Zelda are not far off either.

Nintendo will still make dedicated/deeper game experiences for NX, but there's no doubt in my mind now that they will unleash their full franchise catalog on mobile, just in ways that make sense for mobile (IE: You'll get a touch based Zelda adventure with smaller dungeons, smaller burst play sessions ala the DS Zeldas, rather than a OoT port or something).

Mobile is something Nintendo is going to take dead serious now, and really who can stop them? Super Cell? They have like one franchise. Nintendo has so much they could exploit on mobile. Even things like Nintendogs ... there's no reason that couldn't be brought back on mobile. Hell, they could even make new IP on mobile too.

If I'm Nintendo, I'd just make the rest of 2016 all about Pokemon! It's a worldwide phenomenon again and they'd be out of their damn minds NOT to take all of that money on the table and capitalize! Work hard with Niantic to make GO last! And advertise the hell out of Sun/Moon through GO and the Olympic games! They're just a few weeks away and GO will still be buzzing with momentum I'd imagine.
Also, amiibos! NOW would be a damn good time to release an official Pokemon line of amiibos! Yeah, I know they're not the most popular thing here, but you with all the craze around Pokemon going on they'd make serious bank on that! If they make the amiibos compatible with GO in some fashion, oh sweet Jesus...

This is just the beginning IMO. Nintendo could dominate the mobile market, it's possible no one can stop them.

Well the issue is right now this spike is based on the future, not the present.  The future is looking like it could be bright.  Pokemon GO is doing exceptionally well and is also apparently causing a pretty impressive rise in N3DS sales and Pokemon sales (Sun and Moon Preorders, OR/AS, X/Y, and even digital codes and cartridges for R/B/Y).  If they can replicate this to drive sales of consoles and other franchises, their business truly could soar to a Wii/DS level.  But that future isn't here yet, and once that sinks in the price will fall.  Not back to where it was, but it won't just keep rising at this rate.  I mean, look at that bleeding chart!?!

Also, I have to say I wonder if Pokemon GO might be having a more subtle, psychological impact that could help gaming long term in general: de-stigmatizing "serious" gaming.  Now Pokemon GO isn't "serious" gaming, but let's face it, most mobile games prefer to be the digital equivalent of a board game in that they are distinctly...well lacking in personality.  They can be and often are played in isolation and are discreet.  Pokemon Go, on the other hand, has a distinct brand, mascots, it's a very much recognized as a "gaming" IP, something a lot of people still - STILL  - feel a bit awkward about openly admitting to being into (for some reason).  So I wonder if part of the 3DS surge and such is because this isn't just a sensation, it's out in the open.  People can see other people really getting into this game and talking about it and being very cordial about it.  And people are realizing, "hey, being into and admitting being into a game with more identity than a plank of wood doesn't make you a socially isolated basement dweller!" :P

Not saying this will make all gaming suddenly spike in sales, but it is a thought.

They have alsways denied any interest in in mobile. That is why they are leaving it up to other companies in the first place.  The fully nintendo owned IPs won't replicate this as it was an extremely specific cultural case.

When I read Super Cell, I thought you meant this guy:
 XD

Bit yeah, Nintendo was dipping their toes in the mobile pool before, now they're jumping off the diving board in a cannon ball formation and plowing down straight to the bottom of the deep end!
As long as they don't abandon the dedicated gaming market and don't stop making games like Breath of the Wild, etc. on their own hardware, than they can do whatever with mobile.

Who knows a lot of people said Nintendo couldn't replicate Brain Training. They did it like 4 times again after that. When Nintendo finds a groove it usually is a huge boom.

Animal Crossing could be huuuuuuuuuuuuuge on mobile. Huge.

Mario Kart on mobile would make a billion+ dollars, even a watered down version of it.

Nintendo could make like 10 different Pokemon games alone.

No one in the mobile market has this type of IP catalog.

I highly doubt you'll see what you are envisioning.  They will almost certainly follow the GO model from here on:  very distinct experiences from their handhelds that are specifically made for mobile and that don't overlap.  It's not just going to be them shoving every IP on mobile, only ones that can work as GO has in some fashion.  I really doubt we'll see Mario  Kart, Smash, F-Zero, or other franchises that demand by design high-precision inputs cause that still sucks on mobile.  We will see things like Nintendogs, Brain Age, etc I think as support titles.

Also, as for Zelda...I could see a game that's just dungeons perhaps, where you progress from one to the next etc.  Main issue I could see is that mobile needs a LONG running progression loop to find success normally, Zelda usually has a hard limit to that and it would be tricky to gain the length needed without making it super grind-happy.
