This year is on track to have the lowest number of polio cases of any year in recorded history. There have been just 19 cases globally so far, compared to 30 at the same point last year. 

Before the global eradication campaign began in 1988, there were around 300,000 - 400,000 cases annually.

Holy shit thats amazing. I knew it was on the decline but I didn't know it was almost gone.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
