And Trump will likely use this to fuel his hate machine.

Hate is a virus, it will spread, people will be infected

We need to ban all axes!!!!

That'll solve the issue

I really don't get how this argument gets brought up any time there is an attack with anything besides a gun.  Nobody is saying that banning guns will end all violence.  What people are saying is that if this guy could have bought a semi-automatic weapon without a background check at a gun show and could have purchased a 300 round magazine (illegal in Germany), then instead of 3 serious injuries, we'd probably have 20-30 people dead.

Yeah if anything this incident is a pro for gun control, if this guy had a gun he would've killed probably 3-4x as many people, but he had to use an axe probably because he could not get easy access to a fire arm.

Another day, another tragedy. Again, unless it's someone you personally know, I don't know why we even care anymore. Shit happens.

Shit has causes. Those causes need to be identified and talked about in order to try to avoid these tragedies.

If we don't then it's only a matter of time before it affects someone you do know.

You know I'm being sarcastic...

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Is the refugee problem still bad in Germany?

It seems to be the case. It's not just the matter of migrants misbehaving, but also the German government censoring comments critical of migrants and Merkel's immigration policy on social media, to the point that some people's homes have gotten searched by the police. And remember the sexual assaults in Cologne? The Washington Post published an article that possibly 2000 men (only 120/2000 were identified) sexually assaulted 1200 women. What's rather unsettling is that it has taken over half a year for this information to come out, but not in the German government's accord, but via a leaked document.

Yup, just proves how disasterous Merkel's open gate plan was. Guess she thought that this give her a nobel peace price?

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Meanwhile in Japan and South Korea...

Not really. We're entering the integration phase, wich is much more difficult since a lot of the refugees are unskilled and undereducated by german standarts.

Ironically the lack of new refugees is creating problems in it's own right. Refugee shelters have to close down because they aren't needed any further and jobs being lost because of that.

I'm just greatful he didn't have access  to guns. This could have ended much, much worse. (And it's bad enough.)

But can you really integrate that much at one time? I'm pretty sure they're just going to form their own community and do their own thing.
