Forums - Sony Discussion - I Should Have Bought the VITA Versions.

I love you, i mean your avatar. I can't believe that i just made an account for this thread. :)

I am planning on buying odin sphere, but i dont know for which console. The ps4 version has 1080p and 60 fps, but i would like to have it for my Vita.

What would you say?

Provided it runs decently enough I would get it just for the portability, that's my rule generally. It's a great portable with a wide variety of niche Japanese games, which is something that has become more rare in recent years.

Thanks to your replies i went to my local gamestore to buy odin sphere for the vita, but i ended up buying Steins; Gate and Blazblue for the vita, both are limited editions. :) When i see limited editions of anime games i have to buy it. :( I never played a title of Blazblue though...

Banned for no reason? Why?

Basically, this his post just proves that this thread is just about bitching NIntendo.

Hadoram: uhm no. Thats called beeing objektive and those mentioned things all are facts.

Every company makes mistakes, speeking about them is not "bitching". I know this is hard to understand for fanboys though.

So I (hadoram) was banned for what ? Somebody blamed me i would bitch about nintendo by just giving my opinion based on facts. I do this about every company. That called critism.

The moderator need to be a huge fanboy to ban me for this LOL. He should ban the other guy who blamed me, not me by justing responding and explaining/disproving it.

In this case, the PS4.  It's enough of an upgrade.  Also if I'm buying a PS4 which I will eventually, the more games I buy for it the more I can justify the PS4 purchase.

YES There's Vita love. I want to relish in the Vita love! Unfortunately I don't have a lot of physical copies of Vita games. Most of my Vita games are all digital. My PSP retail games count however is impressive.

Vanillaware spiritual home is Vita. Their art looks stunning on the screen and the games I've played have been 60fps. Not tried Odin's sphere yet, but I understand again the Vita build is excellent.

Playing muramasa and dragons crown on pstv their artwork also scales up beautifully too. So best of both IMO.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

You can still buy the vita versions!

I find myself preferring to game on my Vita too. It's just super convenient, and it feels like a more manageable ecosystem than PS3/PS4.

Yeah, for some games/genres definitely.

I bought Hyperdimension Re;Birth 1 + 2 for PC first, because they were on sale and I expected the best version/resolution. After playing i for a bit i discovered that this kind of gameplay works much better for me on a handheld (f.e. grinding to level up while watching TV or on the go).

So I rebought them on Vita and have much more fun with them this way. Even the graphics look much sharper on the small Vita screen than on my PC monitor. The "1920x1080"-option on PC seems to be fake, it looks very upscaled.

I also like my Final Fantasy and Persona games much better on a handheld, I wished Final Fantasy XII would be ported to Vita.
