People bought that Titanfall collector's edition for $250. That was a new, unproven IP. There's a market out there for premium editions.

The description says the statue is hand painted, so I guess that's where most of the money going to.

Those figures generally cost around $120+ so thats probably where the price came from

That statue was pretty amazing in titanfall's collectors edition. The helmet on new one looks cool also

Homeworld remastered was another cool one as well I think.

The figurine is 14 inches tall, weights 6 lbs and is hand painted... these things usualy cost a lot!

I like the Sony exclusive collector's editions that are $80 like GoW Ascension and TLoU that give steelbooks and an art book or statue. Usually I can sell the collectibles to get a steelbook edition for net cost of $40 or less
