Lots of young kids here who don't remember the early 90s even. But yeah, this has been a problem for ages, only difference now is we have smartphone cameras and two black people have decided to shoot back.

I wasn't even born until a year after this happened, but I know about it well, because it has been used in political debates for different sides.

Well here's the Rodney King beating for those who are too young to remember it for context.

Yes it was. In fact, it was worse.

"More than 60 people lost their lives amid the looting and fires during the Los Angeles riots that ravaged the city over five days starting April 29, 1992. Ten were shot to death by law enforcement officials. Forty-fourpeople died in other homicides or incidents tied to the rioting."

And two years later.

shoot back is not correct term. Take revenge or whatever would be a better way to say it. Shoot back would be other blacks shooting the cop after he shot someone they saw as an unjust shooting.

OK revenge killing, whatever term you want to use there.

Oh God, why

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Gonna wait for more information to come out.

Indeed. My current question is was this shooting motivated by recent events in the same state?

Sounds like there was some other shooting between two civilians, then the cops came, then they got shot from what I'm hearing from an eye witness on CNN.

So this might not be a shoot out related to any other event it may have simply just be some kind of criminal event gone wrong.

Is revenge killing really even tge correct term? They killed three people who had nothing to with the Baton Rouge shooting besides profession. If a doctor commits malpractice, is it revenge to shoot a different doctor?

Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda!!!!

I wonder how long it's going to take before we all just stop giving a shit. I know I personally have. I see "mass shooting" or "bombing" and I go... meh... what's my sports team doing.

In my experience, it's pointless to invest emotions in something you neither have a hand in causing, nor fixing. People do fucked up things... it's life.
