Ps4 sales are beasting right now in Japan. Despite the comsole market apparently dead they've managed to track ahead of the ps3. Great to hear they're struggling to keep up. It's a good problem to have.

I think this lends more credence to a Ps4 revision or an out right slim incoming than it does to NEO. Why would they drop Ps4 production if they plan to keep selling it along side NEO. Expecting an announcement for both NEO and a slim by September with both launching at the beginning of Q3.
Considering we have plenty supply in the rest of the world if Sony give a little more to Japan (they haven't been taking that much stock there) there shouldn't be an issue, but sure if the shortage is very small then Sony is only playing their cards right to give more hype to the HW and improve image using the JRPGs launches

:S why? It's hardly selling gangbusters there, and more importantly, it's been selling really consistently so they should've been able to gauge demand for some time.
