Yes...Pokemon Go wasn't the first...but the Invisimals aren't Pokemon. Pokemon Go isn't what it is because it's the first one to use AR in real life...where are the Invisimals anyway? They aren't breaking records, or making people get out or anything phenomenal... And no...if anybody copied Sony it's Niantic. Nintendo simply provided Licensing of the Pokemon IP. Which is why they're only getting 10% of the profit supposedly.

Nobody's gonna remember these things. And ultimately, that's what matters. Xerox was the first company to use a GUI system like Windows, but who's known for GUI software now? Microsoft. Niantic and Nintendo took what they had and along with the brand power, ran with it.

I have just come to terms that Sony will always be head of the rest, but they will never get the credit. Such is life. I will just continue to enjoy being ahead.

Funny, I remember that Invizimals was considered as "Pokemon clone" by some back then. You know, catching little monsters , ever heard of it?

Let's be honest here, it's hard ot find a game which isn't inspired by something else.
