Forums - Gaming Discussion - Windows 10 for Business to Introduce Subscription Fee

Now is the time for Google to strike. Fuck Chromebook, release the Kraken, a full PC running a retooled Android. Allow it to sink with smartphones. Windows will slowly die, especially if they try this crap with consumer versions.

lol. That ninja updating and now this. If it happens that's some shameful move.

oh, and lol a friend mentioned there... what if you have a windows phone/tablet in your office too... 3x7 per month, das gonna be $252 per year, would definitely be time for the office to find out what linux and android is.

My office uses imacs with wndows on them (exept for mine and the other graphic designers, we use OSX) I expect they'll all have to learn OSX now, wich will be annoying as fuck to the two of us.

As always. Hilarious to read the posts from people who have zero clue about what is going on.
Haters gonna hate.

Yep, there would be no way they would start charging consumers for Windows 10 considering some were forced moved to Windows 10 through their sly tactics involving GWX.  Sounds like entrapment to me.  They already are going through some lawsuits with the forced upgrades involving the way they scheduled people for the move to Windows 10 without their knowledge or without them thoroughly reading the annoying GWX pop up.  They would face way too many lawsuits and consumer backlash if they started charging regular consumers considering some didn't even want Windows 10.  Instead I expect them to just mine your data and sell it off to other companies facebook style.

Watch Linux getting 2B$ to improve just in case Microsoft charges for Windows

this is fair as long as it stays at business level. Businesses that use the software are using it to increase their productivity and thus their profits. 7 dollars a month per worker is not alot. That is like 1/2 wage extra for an employee. (assuming they only pay them 14 an hour, most jobs where you are on a PC pay better than that).

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

it's still free for people who do the upgrade before august.

Don't panic people
