True, but you're acting like these sort of thing never happened in the past. Worse things have happened, don't forget that we massacred hundreds of "Indians" purely for our gain. Or when we killed hundreds of Mormons for expressing their belief. Basic US history knowledge.

Oh no I agree, but I'd say it hasn't been this bad for the past 5 or maybe 10 years. It's not hooorrible by any means, but we're moving backwards right now.

Also, I know barely anything about US history

The only real solution is to ban vehicles in France.  If it saves just one person, it is worth it.  And continue to allow migrants to come in unchecked.  Can't come off as a bigot just for safety.

"Like things hadn't been monumentally abysmal"... Show me where I said or suggested that. IIRC, all I said was that relations have gotten worse. For you to make a rather inaccurate interpretation of a rather clear cut statement isn't helping your case.
