Forums - Sony Discussion - PS4 Neo presentation leaked

It seems to be legit (but also old)

the "CONFIDENTIAL" part blew it.

Doubt this is legit.

Anyone could have made this, probably (almost certain) fake

Predicted 15+ million lifetime-sales for God of War:

If true then the hardware stats are very underwhelming. I don't think it's enough to get me to upgrade.

Hope it's false, the last bit of the presentation suggests that they are aiming at just higher resolutions wich would be a waste of resources. It also suggests that 4K isn't completely feasable and that developers might have to use lower display buffer resolutions to keep a playable frame rate. Though even those buffer resolutions seem unlikely to me with just 512 mb of extra video memory.

Fake. Sony Computer Entertainment America doesn't exist. They renamed to Sony Interactive Entertainment months ago.

And this is supposed to be several months old, ~Feb-March from what I can tell

There is only a minor problem with this "leak":
AMD never launched engineering Jaguar cores at 14/16nm.
There is no die-shrinking possible 28->14nm, this essentially requires a complete redesign (costing between $100M to $150M, depending on who you ask). Why would anyone want to (=Sony,MS) redesign a cpu that was outdated several years ago, when better stuff (Zen lite amongst it) was already in the works?

And the changeover to SIE happened April 1st so it could still be real.

To think people actually take the time to make a fake "leak". I'll never understand what people get out of that. I love how it says "confidential" on it. Next time they should put "will self destruct in 15 seconds..."
